Lately I’ve been busy writing and editing a new novel called Denial. I started the rough draft in July and I am on my third round of edits.
Denial deals with dating violence, consent, and the pursuit of justice on a small college campus. Dating violence is all too prevalent and Denial shows the signs of an unhealthy and abusive relationship.
This novel is important for all age groups to read, including high school and college age. I enjoy talking to this age group and hope that Denial will help students recognize the warning signs. If we can educate young adults on dating violence and sexual assault, then we can prevent future instances of domestic violence.
Here is a little more information on Denial: After a brutal attack by her boyfriend, Ashley seeks help from her college professor and together they try to pursue justice while healing from their own wounds.
I’ll keep you posted on the release date. Thank you for your support with my mission to end violence.
